it's the annual bike week rally in Sturgis, a nearby town. I have
never seen this many bikers.

The Sturgis bike rally started when the Jackpine Gypsies Motorcycle Club had some races which attracted a small number of attendees. Now the Black Hills rally has endless attractions and events which attracts around 500,000 bikers. Although what is often called Sturgis Bike Week had lower attendance in 2007, it was still gigantic, fun and made it just made it easier to get around.
